About

We make serving papers transparent and trackable.

Canadian Process Server is an online platform that coordinates service of process across Canada for lawyers, paralegals, businesses and individuals.

What we do

One place to order, follow and close out service of process.

You request service online for an address in any of the 10 provinces or 3 territories. A verified process server near that address accepts the job, serves the papers and logs every attempt. The sworn affidavit of service comes back to your dashboard.

We coordinate everything in between: the price, matching your job with a server, payment, the record of each attempt and delivery of the affidavit. The process server handles the service in person.

Who it's for

  • Lawyers

Order service for your cases and receive the sworn affidavit in your dashboard.

  • Paralegals

Follow every job and attempt in one place, with an email at each update.

  • Businesses

Serve notices and other documents in any province without finding a local server yourself.

  • Individuals

Serve papers in your own case, with the price shown before you submit.

Our mission

Make serving papers transparent and trackable.

You should know the price before you commit, know your server has been checked, and be able to follow the job until the affidavit is in your hands. That's what we hold every job to.

What we stand for

Four principles behind every job.

  • Transparency

You see the price, built from its parts, before you submit. While the job runs, you see each status, note and attempt as your server logs it.

  • Verification

Every process server provides a government-issued photo ID, and a person on our team reviews each application before any job. Where a province or court requires a licence or registration, the server must hold it, and we record a licence or registration number where a server has one.

  • Confidentiality

Your documents are stored privately. Only the assigned server, after you pay, and Canadian Process Server admins can open them. Your phone number and email are never shared with the server.

  • A record of every attempt

Up to three attempts, each logged with notes, time, GPS location and photos. Served or not, you receive an affidavit: of service, or of attempted service.

Please note

Canadian Process Server is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.

We coordinate the service of the documents you provide. For questions about your case, which papers to serve or the deadlines that apply to you, speak with a lawyer or paralegal.
